ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Please note eligibility requirements for attending the advanced level Institute leading to the Certified Inspector General™ ("CIG") designation:

Participants must meet the qualifications for receiving the Certified Inspector General™ designation in order to attend the Institute. Participants who successfully complete the Institute then qualify for the Certified Inspector General title.

You must meet one of these criteria:

1. Now holding an appointed position as an inspector general in a public jurisdiction.

OR

2. Now serving or having served as a senior-level staff member in an inspector general's office, (including Assistant Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General, or Legal Counsel) who has earned a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; has 10 years of public sector experience performing or managing audits, investigations, or directly related legal functions; and has at least three years’ experience as a senior-level staff member in an inspector general's office managing and overseeing audits or investigations.

OR

3. Now serving or having served as a senior-level staff member in an inspector general's office, (including Assistant Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General, or Legal Counsel) who has earned a graduate degree in Public Administration, Law, or a related field from an accredited college or university; has seven years of public sector experience performing or managing audits, investigations, or directly related legal functions; and has at least three years’ experience as a senior-level staff member in an inspector general's office managing and overseeing audits or investigations.

(1) FILL OUT and PRINT THE FORM
After filling out the online form below, but before hitting the "Submit" button, please make sure that your printer is on and connected and print two (2) copies of this online application. One must accompany the check you will send to the treasurer. The other is for your records.

(2) THEN HIT "SUBMIT"
Once you have printed the copies you may then hit the "Submit" button just once to transmit your application to the registrar at Keystone Intelligence Network, Inc. When you are presented with a "thank you" screen your application has been sent.

(3) IMMEDIATELY MAIL IN YOUR PAYMENT
Immediately after online registration has been submitted mail a check for $850 for members and $950 for non-members per registrant made payable to, "Association of Inspectors General" and enclose a copy of the printed out online application for each registrant to:

REGISTRATION APPROVAL
All applications for this Institute are subject to review and approval by the Association of Inspectors General Professional Certification Board ("PCB"). Applicants will be informed of the Board's decision on or before November 15, 2005.

The Association of Inspectors General is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy ("NASBA") as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be addressed to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors, 150 Fourth Avenue North, Suite 700, Nashville, TN 37219-2417, or visit www.nasba.org. The recommended amount of CPE credit for the Institute is 35, with each credit based upon a 50-minute hour.
