INVESTIGATIVE/CONSULTING SERVICES
In addition to our Philadelphia Headquarters staff, KIN has over the last 35 years developed and maintained an array of investigators around the world capable of handling all of your investigative needs, as well as our Protective Service Division which offers armed and unarmored professional security personal for all of your needs from special events to executive protection.
KIN has provided services such as:
- Class Action Preparation: KIN has a staff of professional investigators available to assist attorneys in legal actions undertaken by one or more plaintiffs on behalf of themselves and all other persons having an identical interest in the alleged wrong doing.
- Due Diligence: The theory behind due diligence holds that performing these types of investigations contributes significantly to informed decision making by enhancing the amount and quality of information available to decision makers and by ensuring that this information is systematically used to deliberate in a reflexive manner on the decision at hand and all its costs, benefits, and risks.
- Inspector General Investigations: These investigations include the detection and prevention of fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement of programs and operations within an organizations. They may be internal, targeting employees, or external.
- Witness and Habeas Corpus: Locating missing persons and witnesses is one of our many specialties.
- Fraud and Theft Investigations: Our fraud and theft investigators are second to none, with over 100 years of combined experience.
- Forensic Auditing and Accounting Investigations: Our forensic accountant has participated in forensic and investigative engagements involving financial statements, books and records, and tax returns in marital and business disputes as well as issues before IRS. He has successfully guided and assisted our clients through IRS’s Offshore Voluntary Disclosure Program (financial accounts outside the U.S.) and in preparing and responding to challenges by tax authorities.
- Applicant Screening: KIN is proud to be the official screening service of applicants for the Philadelphia Police Department and SEPTA Police Department. We provide professional screening interviews, polygraph examinations, and drug testing, as well as criminal, driving, and credit checks.
- Forensic Interviews: The Forensic Assessment Interview Technique (FAINT) is a stand alone process that accurately analyzes a suspect's veracity based on their non-verbal behavior, protective analysis of their unwitting verbal cues, forensic statement analysis, and the Morgan Interview Theme Technique (MITT).
- Interrogations: We wrote the book, "Effective Interviewing and Interrogation Techniques," now in its 4th Edition.
- Forensic Statement and Deposition Analysis: Our professional staff has a proven history of over 20 years of successfully applying forensic analysis techniques to evaluate the veracity of written statements and depositions.
- Truth Verification Examinations: KIN has the largest staff of professional polygraph examiners in the tri-state area. All of our examiners have been trained at American Polygraph Association and International Society of Polygraph Examiners accredited schools. Our examiners are recognized world-wide for their expertise to the field.
- Expert Testimony: Our personnel have successfully given expert testimony in various investigations ranging from employee theft to homicide in many states and jurisdictions throughout the United States, to include Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Louisiana, and Michigan.
- Criminal and Business Investigations: Our firm has successfully conducted criminal and business investigations for over 25 years, both in the United States and abroad. We have professional contacts throughout the world, and no investigation is too small or big for us to handle.
- Executive Protection: Our firm has provided professional executive protection to executives and well known celebrities. Our services include vehicular transportation when needed.

TRAINING SERVICES
The Academy for Scientific Investigative Training (ASIT) conducts polygraph and interviewing and interrogation techniques training in locations in the United States, Middle East, Asia, South Africa and South America. Since 1980 our internationally known, cutting edge forensic innovators, authors, polygraph and interrogation experts have been advancing and teaching the scientific detection of deception and related credibility assessment techniques to include:
